implemented a policy of apartheid the white people from the black people in to
first class citizens and second class citizens. In that period of time the
black people suffer all kinds of humiliations and abuse which are shown in the museum.

It is an island and a museum. But it used to be a prison for political
prisoners outlaws and troublemakers. The island is 12 kilometers away form Cape
Town. It was also a military base. Sense it is a museum it offer you the opportunity
to be in the inside of South African history plus you can enjoy nature and the magnificent
